Summer of 1995. Monastiraki of Athens, Greece.
One idea. One vision. One decision.
It all started in a small arcade.
The arcade in Ifaistou Street 24, which in the year of 1993 was a warehouse. Later on, this arcade because the main space for the collector Ioannis Mavros to sell rare records with the name of “OH AMAN MARKET”.
But in the summer of 1995, everything changed.
The idea of creating a record store was become true by the name, “Mr. Vinylios”.
A bold move, kinda risky at the time but it was the beginning of a great success…
Nowadays, our record store has become well known in Greece and worldwide and each year we make countless trips in Europe and in USA to find rare records. Also, we’ve been participating in partnerships with many labels and companies all around the world and festivals. Regardless of the sales department though, we also have contributed collectively as well as individually in the field of music in lyrics, productions and supporting financially releases of local bands and artists.
